Charlie Sheen is set to return to TV screens with his new comedy series Anger Management, just a year after he was fired from Two and a Half Men.
Sheen will star as a former baseball player with rage issues who becomes an unlikely management counsellor.
Selma Blair will star as his therapist and Shawnee Smith will portray his ex-wife.
Website Eonline reported the show will be shot on location in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley and will debut on America's FX network on March 22.
Speaking about the series, Sheen recently told The Hollywood Reporter: 'We will not disappoint. It's going to be an absolute f---ing rocket ship to the moon.'
Anger Management will mark Sheen's TV comeback following his firing from Two and a Half Men in March, 2011.
He said early this week that he was tired of pretending that the show and his replacement on the show, actor Ashton Kutcher, did not suck. But later backtracked on the comments relating to Kutcher, with website TMZ obtaining his letter of apology.
'Dear Ashton, My bad,' the letter read. 'I was disrespectful to a man doing his best. I got excited and I threw you into the crossfire, but the rest of my statement I stand behind. You however, deserve better. Safety in your travels good sir.' .
