An endangered frog which has not been seen in 40 years in some areas, has been discovered in an newly expanded section of a southeast Queensland national park.

Queensland Environment Minister Vicky Darling says the Fleay's Barred Frog, a large brown burrowing frog, has been found in the Springbrook National Park, south of Brisbane.
