Police have discovered an abandoned Lennons truck on the side of the Hume Highway in western Sydney as the company continues to be investigated.
Police said they discovered the empty Lennons Transport Services B-double truck on the side of the Hume Highway at Liverpool on Wednesday night.
There was no sign of the driver.
The truck has been towed for mechanical examination, including checks on whether the speed limiting device was tampered with.
It comes after police descended on Lennons early on Wednesday after one of their drivers was charged over a January 24 accident that killed three people on the Hume Highway at Menangle.
Police later said they had found safety breaches, including attempts to manipulate speed limiters, on eight Lennons trucks.
So far, 20 of 35 Lennons trucks have been located, with the search continuing for the rest.
Calvyn Logan, 59, and his elderly parents Donald and Patricia Logan, aged in their 80s, died when a B-double truck careered onto the wrong side of the road.
Driver Vincent George, 33, has been charged with three counts of dangerous driving occasioning death.
On Wednesday, another Lennons driver was found with cannabis in his possession and another had exceeded fatigue restrictions by driving 17 hours in one day.
