A strong earthquake has jolted parts of eastern Indonesia, but there are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
Indonesia's meteorology and geophysics agency says there's no danger of a tsunami, but the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre says there's a very small possibility of a tsunami near the epicentre.
The US Geological Survey says the quake measured a magnitude 6.7 and was centred 108 kilometres north of Dobo on Aru island chain of the provincial capital of Maluku.
